Opificio 31 is located in Tortona by the Navigli District, the beating heart of the events that take place on the occasion of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the Fashion Weeks. The Navigli area, with its artisan shops, the presence of galleries and artist laboratories, is a place full of vitality that identifies the metropolitan city of Milan. Born at the end of the nineteenth century and characterized by the presence of industrial plants and workers' residences, the space has been redeveloped and transformed into an important center for activities linked to design, fashion and communication.

The architectural installation works in unison with the existing location and the artist’s background. Inspired by the industrial environment, it tries to replicate through the architectural form, the origin and work process of the artist. Thus, a representation of a boxing gym is created in a minimalistic language, enhancing the environment to a museum-like experience that aids the artist works and active performance. A central area, represented by the ring, hosts the performance that is back dropped by projections of the artist past works, while the remaining wall spaces will feature more recent works alternated between picto-sculptures and freestanding works of various kind.
