"Sector" is a proposed Soft City Center (SCC) in Modasa, Gujarat, India. Modasa is an emerging educational center as well as an economic centre for agricultural exports, on provincial and national level. As a centre for the surrounding villages, Modasa acts as a transportation hub for both residents and tourists.

The core activities of the SCC are intended to promote and engage local residents and new arrivals to Modasa. The spaces of the Center include: indoor and outdoor classrooms, performance, recreational, market, administration, and dining spaces. These spaces serve as a catalyst for future growth and will be organized around open air collective spaces: piazzas, green, streets, and forum are used for public gatherings.

The main section of Modasa develops around a main road; the built form acts as plug in to the street system creating a network of houses. Sector takes the existing village​ street and reorganizes it based on program. ​The repositioning of the program is key to delineate the form of the SCC; focus is given to a central public area.​ To render the space more interactive and improve circulation, an alternative route is given and is placed parallel to the main street.​ The perimeter of the structure starts to form based on specific designed views and the new circulation system.​ New Program is introduced as infill between gathering spaces; different walls act as architectural separation of the different programs.
